Spray Cooling

Spray cooling is a process whereby a waxy material which is solid at normal ambient temperature is heated up to become liquid and then the liquid is atomised in a stream of cooled air and the droplets solidify as they cool back to ambient temperature. This enables a waxy solid to be presented to the customer in an easily handled granular form. Manipulation of the atomiser speed can modify the particle size produced to suit different customer requirements. Several of our Spray Driers and equipped with chiller units to be able to operate as Spray Coolers.
