Spray Cooling
Lancashire Chemicals is unique in offering a commercial toll spray cooling service to industry and we would welcome your enquiries for this service. We can offer at any scale from a pilot plant level (5-10kg) up to tanker loads if required. Spray cooling is the process for turning a waxy solid at room temperature into easily handled granules or powder which may have a number of advantages for the customer. This process is carried out in one of our spray driers where we take a molten wax at around 70-90C and pump this in small droplets into the spray drier which utilises cooled air to re-solidify the molten wax and depending on the flow rate this could either be a granule or in powder form.
