Potassium Acetate is available as a powder or as a 50% or 70% solution. Potassium Acetate can be used in the manufacture of antibiotics, penicillin, insulin and in haemo- and peritoneal dialysis solutions. Potassium Acetate can be used as a polymerization catalyst and in the production of polyurethane foam and in carbon black production. The product is also used as a dehydrating agent, a textile conditioner, a flame retardant and as a drilling fluid additive.
